If you are interested in volunteering at the Community Pregnancy Center, there are many options available to you. Several positions require training but many other positions do not. Listed below are the ways you can be involved. Thank you for your support!

Volunteer Training: A required introductory course for those volunteers working directly with clients. Training sessions are held at the Middletown Office.

VOLUNTEER POSITIONS:

Client Advocates: serve our clients by offering counseling to women who come to the center for pregnancy testing or material supplies.  Typically the client advocate volunteers for a 2-3-hour shift each week.  The client advocate takes the client through the necessary paperwork and explains to her how to perform the pregnancy test.  She assists the client in seeing the options to a positive pregnancy test from a pro-life perspective.   She also shares the Good News of Jesus and the benefits of abstinence to the client.

  2. Time Commitment: 2-3 hours weekly

Receptionist: answers phone calls, schedule appointments, and greets clients.  It is the desire of the CPC to have a receptionist on every shift so that each client is immediately met with compassion and care.

Care Closet Volunteers:  organize donations such as maternity clothing, baby clothing, and furniture items.

Office Help: Clerical assistance, mailings, cleaning, etc.
